Dan Kenney retired in 2018 from UNC Pembroke as its former Chief of Staff and Director of Athletics. In retirement he continued his hobby of doing a daily blog called Coach4aday. His blog’s purpose was to share ideas that could he help people grow and learn about leadership.
While retired he was approached multiple times by friends, former colleagues, and business leaders to assist them with an executive search or some aspect of leadership training. So, sixteen months after retiring a decision was made by him to actively pursue leadership coaching and assisting others with executive searches.
Coach4aday LLC was founded on July 12, 2019 and is registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State. This S Corporation has Dan Kenney acting as the managing member and presenter. Mira Kenney his wife is also a member and assists with his calendar and logistics.
