#Brag April 13

The unknown is fertile ground for the spread of commentary and opinion. The unknown requires faith, hope, and leadership to be successfully navigated. If left by its own devices it will morph into rumors, doom, and gloom.

During this COVID-19 we have great concern for the rapid spread of the virus. I would like to see something else spread rapidly. I want people to BRAG on what leaders, neighbors, and friends are doing for others. If we can get people BRAGGING on others for kindness and love it will infect us all with hope and faith.

Here are BRAGGING points I have heard about or seen in last 24 hours.

**In Rock Hill SC there are students that cannot print out there homework assignments. A local insurance agent named Patrick Mitrovich stepped up to meet that need.

**In Brooklyn NY Mario Salerno owns 18 apartment buildings. He is waving rent for 80 tenants. You can read about that at this link.  He posted the message below are each of his buildings. “Due to the recent pandemic of Coronavirus COVID-19 affecting all of us, please note I am waiving rent for the month for April. Stay safe, help your neighbors & wash your hands!!!”

** In Lumberton NC there are three friends/leaders who are checking on shut in neighbors daily. Their neighbors are either elderly or have health issues. They would disown me if I share their names but please know what they are doing is real. They are taking care of their neighbors shopping, taking out the trash, and whatever else they need. They saw a need and provide it for people who could not.

I am challenging you today to BRAG on someone. Find one example and tell two people. You will be spreading positivity. Pay attention to what is taking place around you. Be determined you are going to find something positive in the behavior of others. Let others hear on what you are observing.

BRAGGING to others on servant leadership can infect and infuse all of us with a vaccine of hope, faith, and kindness. BRAG on the good.
