I am from New Jersey specifically Northern NJ where there are popular sayings. For instances in Jersey we don’t have round-a-bouts we have Jughandles.
For the record there are almost 600 Jug Handles in the Garden State. You are driving along and they pop up out of the BLUE. In Jersey we all understand that often you have to turn right to go left.
Sometimes I have friends pop up into my life out of the BLUE. It is hard to do that right now because of stay at home orders and COVID 19. Yet they are popping up on social media or with a phone call.
I have a friend named Jaclyn Donovan that literally pops out of the clear BLUE sky as her hobby. Her hobby and passion in life is sky diving. On almost a daily basis she is reaching out to me on either Twitter or Facebook. Thanks Jaclyn!
She has jumped out of an airplane over 900 times and counting. She met her husband Jack sky diving. That is the cute couple below.
Jack and Jaclyn are competitive leaders so just jumping or sky-diving is not enough for these two adventure junkies. They both have been involved in sky diving records. Jack in 2006 was one of 400 people who did a world record tandem jump together in Thailand. Can you even imagine 400 people all jumping out of plane all of them free-falling and getting connected before deploying their parachutes. Jaclyn in 2015 set a Georgia Record for a sequential jump where 20 sky divers in the span of 60 seconds created four unique shapes.
She has been part of several state and world records with sky diving. She literally likes to pop out of a clear BLUE sky and land on earth. She is also a unique, talented, adventurous, intelligent, and hard-working leader. In fact she was part of record-setting group of 181 women from around the world who in 2009 participated in “Jump for the Cause”.
Jaclyn is employed by Vereen Center in Moultrie, GA. At the Vereen Rehabilitation Center, Jaclyn and her team of certified athletic trainers offer a variety of treatments to the area high schools.
The COVID 19 episode is making it hard for friends to just pop out of the BLUE. I hope when this is over that I can go visit people like Jack and Jaclyn but I will be fine navigating a few jug handles versus using a parachute.
