Today in Lumberton NC the 2019 Dixie Youth World Series gets underway. Last night I had the privilege to serve as the keynote speaker during the opening ceremonies at Lumberton HS

I have also agreed along with others to volunteer at the event. My assignment is being an ANNOUNCER for several of the game today and tomorrow.

The sole purpose of this job is to give the spectators information about the game. I will provided the line-up, announcements, and focus my comments on the game.

Sometimes announcers become part of the game.
