April 2026 will take a slightly different approach to the 30-Day Challenge. Each day of the month, I’ll be participating in the 30-Day Tai Chi Coach4aday Challenge. What will be different this time is that my daily posts won’t be limited to that day’s exercises—I want the freedom to share more spontaneous and wide-ranging thoughts along the way.
I will still include the focus of each day’s Tai Chi routine, but much of what I write may explore topics far removed from exercise. Just as Tai Chi is designed to improve flexibility, I hope my writing reflects that same sense of openness and adaptability each day. For Day Six the thought I am expanding on is WRITERS BLOCK.

“Tai Chi” 30 Day Challenge
Searching online for a 30-Day program brought me face to face with lots of options but I have chosen a plan led by Dr Alan Potts PT. You can download the schedule I am utilizing at this link.
It looks like this.

Challenge Guidelines
- View the daily video and mirror what you see.

April 6th-Writer’s Block
Back in 2018 I got a fantastic gift from my friend John Rancke. He agreed, though he may counter he was hoodwinked into co-writing the Coach4aday Blog every other day for the entire year. On March 4, 2018 he composed a post on the challenges he encountered with Writers Block.
Writer’s block is the frustrating inability to put thoughts into words, even when ideas feel just out of reach. It often stems from pressure, overthinking, or fear of not getting it right. The best way through it is to keep writing anyway—imperfectly—until momentum returns.
In just a week I have discovered that after my Tai Chi session my mind is more open and receptive to free-flowing thoughts. Was also able to locate a blog titled Write Now! Coach that featured a post titled “How Tai Chi Can Improve Your Writing” by Mark Fuerst. Mark’s piece validates what I have been feeling that after Tai Chi ideas that I can use to compose a post come a lot easier.
