In September 2025, many of us will be taking part in the 30-Day Monuments Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will spotlight one of the nearly 50,000 National Monuments or Memorials across the United States. In addition, we’ll feature a wide range of other tributes—from statues honoring heroes and athletes to memorials recognizing outstanding citizens and many other categories. Today the post is on a statue of RONALD REAGAN that sits outside at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport which is located just outside of DC in Arlington VA

The 9-foot bronze statue of Ronald Reagan stands outside Terminal 1 of Reagan National, unveiled in 2011 as part of celebrations for the 100th anniversary of his birth. It was sculpted by Chas Fagan who lives in North Carolina and shows Reagan in a business suit, standing with hands at his side and gazing slightly into the distance as though greeting travelers.

Here is a photo of that airport sculpture.
