Here is what the Asian country of Nepal’s flag looks like. Hope you guessed it correctly.

June 4 Flag of the Day

Today’s flag of the day consists of a sky-blue field cut horizontally in the center by a black stripe with a thin white frame.

FAQ about this Flag

  1. Colors: The colors used in the flag have specific meanings. The blue color represents water, which is a valuable resource in this predominantly arid country. Black symbolizes the majority ethnic group, while white represents peace.
  2. Tilted Design: It is one of the few national flags in the world that is designed to be intentionally tilted. The black stripe, along with the emblem, is placed at an angle of 12.5 degrees to the left.
  3. Adoption: The current design of the flag was officially adopted on September 30, 1966, when this country gained independence from British colonial rule.
