For today’s 30-Day Baseball Coach4aday Challenge post I am reporting on ENOS Slaughter.
Enos Bradsher Slaughter was a professional baseball player who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1938 to 1959. Born in Roxboro NC he garnered the nickname “Country”. He spent most of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals and is best known for his “Mad Dash” in Game 7 of the 1946 World Series. Slaughter was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985.
