For the month of August, I am participating in the 30-Day Phone Apps Coach4adayChallenge. Today the focus is on food and dining review app called YELP.

The goal each day is to explore a different application each month that I could use or experiment with on my iPhone or desktop.

August 13th-Food and Restaurant Review-YELP

When I am traveling with my wife, we often find ourselves trying to locate an eating establishment that locals enjoy.

The Yelp iPhone app helps us discover and review local businesses such as restaurants, shops, and services. It enables us to search for businesses based on our location or intended destination, read reviews and ratings from other users, and make informed decisions about where to dine, shop, or seek various services.

A recent check found Yelp has over 199 million reviews of businesses worldwide. This app has been around since 2004.
