One of the things that 2020 will go down in the books for is just how many events, moments, occasions, and gatherings went VIRTUAL.
One of my favorite events to attend in person over the past ten years is UNC Pembroke Cash Bash
The event has been a gathering of 350 people in the Jones Center at UNC Pembroke. I loved the way the Athletic Department would transform the gym into a classy venue. They are now doing that VIRTUALLY.
This year’s VIRTUAL edition started out yesterday with a host of fantastic silent auction items available. I am already bidding on a few items. The silent auctions on Tuesday October 13th so you better get registered ASAP.

Some of the unique items include spending the night in a caboose in Kingsport TN, deep sea fishing trips, all-inclusive trips to Mexico, catered dinners and lunches, sports memorabilia, fine cigars, bourbon tasting event, jewelry, Yeti cooler, beach condo, opportunity to be a coach for a day on a number of UNCP teams, UNCP Bookstore items, and much more.
Starting on October 13 there will be live auction items on the site. The live auction will end on October 17th.
In 2020 I am adding a first by attending the Cash Bash via a VIRTUAL format. Hope if you have an affinity for UNC Pembroke Athletics you will join me and get registered.
