June 2026 several of us are going to take on the 30-Day Movie Scene Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we share a YouTube clip from a movie and explain what is intriguing about that particular scene. It is a simple daily activity of sharing a Movie Scene.

My focus today is on the infamous “SHOW ME THE MONEY” scene between Rod Tidwell and his agent in the 1996 film Jerry McGuire.

This month marks the 78th consecutive month that friends Jeff Neelon and Jaclyn Donovan have taken on some sort of challenge. Day 2-Show Me the Money-Rod Tidwell & Jerry McGuire

Many people love the 1996 movie Jerry McGuire, and I am part of that group. Characters in the film include Rod Tidwell played by Cuba Gooding Jr who is a pro football player and his agent is Jerry McGuire played by Tom Cruise. They have a relationship strained by financial pressures, frustrations, and professional ambitions.

In the scene below Rod is demanding that Jerry demonstrate passion, enthusiasm, and commitment if he wants to remain his agent. This scene includes the iconic line “Show Me the Money“
