SAVANNAH is a great city to visit.

I love the river, the squares, the homes, and the vibe the people of this city give off. Part of it’s vibe is tied into the history with higher education. If you walk or drive around you cannot help but seeing the presence of SCAD has on everything. SCAD has campuses in other locations but the location here is the largest. They have nearly 70 historic and beautifully renovated facilities interwoven throughout the city.

Charleston often gets a reputation for great food but don’t be fooled because this Georgia River Town can make you happy. Just look at this creamy seafood pasta dish at a fabulous place called Garibaldi’s.

I have been to SAVANNAH with a group several times and all I can say is the memories make me happy. I will let the smiling faces speak for themselves.

2013 trip to Savannah with friends

My wife and I live in an older home (1910) and the Historic District showcases beautiful architecture with 18th- and 19th-century buildings. We love to explore that area. Here is a link of places to see

Evenings where I stay out past nine o’clock are rare. When I visit SAVANNAH I am coerced by friends, who cause me to violate curfew. Remaining happy doesn’t stop in Savannah once the sun goes down. Places abound where you can grab a plastic “to-go” cup and walk the city.

Some of the best times always seem to take place in one of my happy places, SAVANNAH

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
