In September 2025, many of us took part in the 30-Day Monuments Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we spotlighted one of the nearly 50,000 National Monuments or Memorials across the United States. In addition, we featured a wide range of other tributes—from statues honoring heroes and athletes to memorials recognizing outstanding citizens and many other categories. Today the post is a RECAP.

I have been traveling the past week, and I can say this past month has made me very aware of statues, monuments, and memorials located in all size communities. In addition to that my friends Jeff Neelon and Jaclyn Donovan have highlighted some real interesting sites.

One example was all the statues I saw in Williamsport PA on Market Square that were connected to city’s support of Little League Baseball. Three guys leaning on a rail watching a baseball game is part of the city’s Base Loaded Project was my favorite. They allowed me to join them for a photo.
