This month during the challenge I got to be joined everyday by Jeff Neelon. He shared with all of us some interesting people and travel experiences he has been part of.

Lessons Learned

Each challenge to varying degrees has tested some aspect of life. Many have been physical in nature but that wasn’t the case for March. Almost every one of the previous Coach4adayChallenges have involved some level of anxiety. There was the concern of not being strong enough, competent enough, or creative enough.

Writing a letter to yourself involved being vulnerable and acknowledging that your life is a work in progress. It was accepting that yes you have made mistakes, but all was not lost if you can learn from that misstep. With many of the completed physical challenges I became stronger and more confident. I have that same feeling emotionally about the March 2023 Letter Writing Challenge. The habit of composing 30 letters to myself has bolstered my self-worth and reinforced my uniqueness. Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
