#Recap April 30

In April 2025, three of us completed the 30-Day Nature Observation Challenge. Each day, the goal was to share an observation—a plant, animal, or sound—experienced while spending time outdoors. Wise individuals have noted that observing nature enhances mindfulness, reduces stress, and deepens our appreciation for life’s interconnectedness—speaking for all of us that took place.

Today, my post is on RECAP of April 2025

Over the past four weeks, Jeff Neelon, Jaclyn Donovan, and I made a daily effort to carve out time to simply observe the world around us.

For me personally some of the magical moments I had included seeing a muskrat swim in a creek, capturing on a webcam a raccoon stealing bird seed from my feeder, and learning from Jaclyn about the gopher tortoise they have in South Georgia.

May 2025 Challenge

Tomorrow will begin a new monthly challenge. The adventure for May 2025 will be a 30-Day Golf Challenge. Every day you explore or research a golf course, learn about golf equipment, or actually play. This will be the 65th consecutive monthly challenge the three of us will take on. There is a list of the first 62 challenges at this link.

More details on the Golf Challenge in tomorrow’s post.
