Today is Day 2 for the 30 Day #Coach4adayChallenge. This entire month each day the challenge is to take a quiz. Today it is on US PRESIDENTS.

The Challenge is simple. Test your knowledge on a subject matter and check on how you did against others. Each of these quizzes is on a website called Purpose Games. Each day for the #Coach4adayChallenge the quiz will change. You can do all 30 or just pick the days you want to join.

Yesterday we had a quiz on US Geography and excited that 11 people participated. Congrats to those individuals that scored a 100 including Tony Jenkins and Jaclyn Donovan.

The purpose of the challenge is to help all of us learn. One of the many valuable lessons I have learned since retiring is the importance of “lifelong learning”. That is why for the past 24 months I have adopted a unique 30 Day Challenge each month. Lifelong learning has a number of characteristics including what is listed below.

Lifelong Learning Characteristics

Whether I have been pursuing personal interests or learning something new, lifelong learning has brought purpose to every day along with helping me grow and improve. That is the intent of the daily quiz. It is a small habit that hopefully will bring each of us a daily purpose.

The reality is that most of us have goals or interests that fall outside of our formal schooling and jobs.  We sometimes invent reasons not to pursue them. One way to begin to change that mindset is to start small. These daily quizzes often taking five minutes or less to complete is a start but it starts a new habit. That is the beauty of a challenge it becomes a building block for creating new powerful habits in our lives.

If you want to play just go to this link. Tomorrow I will be posting results of today’s quiz. I scored a 84.

Presidents of the USA

This quiz is actually a video. It will pop up a name and you need to click the blue dot on the correct corresponding PRESIDENT. I struggled with a few but still scored 88% and it took me 2 Minutes and 11 seconds to complete. The neat thing about these quizzes is you can take them again. Below is my score on US PRESIDENTS

When you log on this is what the quiz video will look like. You just click the play button and the prompts and timer begin. When you get all of them identified it presents you with a score. Remember the link is located here not in picture below.

Carve out five minutes and join us by taking this quiz on US PRESIDENTS. If you do you are creating a habit of “lifelong learning”.

Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
