In October 2025, many of us will be taking part in the 30-Day Kitchen Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will spotlight an appliance, utensil, or gadget found in a commercial or residential kitchen. The tools and devices used to prepare and cook food is quite extensive and this month we will take a look at both the sublime and ridiculous. My post today is focused on the PIZZA CUTTER.

A pizza cutter is a handheld kitchen tool featuring a sharp, circular blade that rolls smoothly to slice through pizza crusts and toppings. Its design allows for clean, even cuts without disturbing the cheese or shifting the toppings.

October 27th-Pizza Cutter

This tool can be utilized for more than just divvying out slices of pizza.

A pizza cutter can be surprisingly versatile beyond slicing pizza. It can be used to cut homemade pasta, quesadillas, flatbreads, pie dough, or pastry strips with ease. Many home cooks also use it to slice herbs, cut sandwiches for kids, trim tortillas, portion cookie dough, or slice thin sheets of brownies and fudge neatly.
