n October 2025, many of us will be taking part in the 30-Day Kitchen Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will spotlight an appliance, utensil, or gadget found in a commercial or residential kitchen. The tools and devices used to prepare and cook food is quite extensive and this month we will take a look at both the sublime and ridiculous. My post today is focused on INSULATED CUPS.

I have written often about my apparent lack of hipness when it comes to getting in on the front end of cultural trends. That certainly applies to me observing Insulated Cups or Tumblers are now everywhere.
It seems like overnight, America traded in its plain coffee mugs for status-symbol tumblers that could survive a cross-country road trip—or a polar expedition. From office desks to gym bags, Yeti and Stanley cups have become as common as smartphones, each promising to keep our drinks perfectly hot or icy cold for hours. The rise of these insulated icons isn’t just about temperature control—it’s a cultural phenomenon fueled by durability, design, and a touch of everyday luxury.
I confess I received a gift of stainless Yeti that I use each morning for my cup of coffee. It is sitting on my desk shown below as I compose this post.

October 30th-Insulated Cups or Tumblers
So just how much has this industry grown. So reports state that Stanley had ts revenue reportedly jumped from around US $73 million in 2019 to an estimated US $750 million by 2023. If you own a Yeti or Stanley or some other brand of insulated tumblers welcome to the party -you are not alone in having this item in your kitchen.
