#Encouragement April 20

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Everything in the universe is connected by energy. Sometimes the fuel or energy people need the most is ENCOURAGMENT.

The beauty of sharing an ENCOURAGING word with someone else is how easy it is do. Like many forms of energy we sometimes forget how powerful ENCOURAGEMENT can be. There is a fantastic motivational quote I want to share:

“ENCOURAGING words are priceless yet they cost nothing”

The post today is a challenge for you to decide today you will give someone ENCOURAGEMENT. You may be providing them the energy they need to not only make it thru the day but stay with them the rest of their lives. That is what is so powerful about ENCOURAGMENT we don’t always know how it will impact people. We just have to accept that it can.

So decide to be an ENOURAGER today. Think about doing one of these uplifting behaviors today or pick out your own.

  1. Pray for someone immediately when you realize they have a need.
  2. If you have a social media account find someone to brag on or share a motivational quote
  3. Pass along a book or article that impacted you.
  4. Thank people that are often in jobs where they don’t hear the words thank you. If it is a Monday I often frame my thank you by asking people a question. I will say, “Do you take compliments on Mondays”? After a puzzled look they will say yes and I thank them for what they are doing.
  5. Hand written notes that offer ENCOURAGEMENT or appreciation.
  6. When you have an opportunity to introduce one of your colleagues or friends to others always start the introduction with praise and compliments about them.
  7. One technique when you encounter something special is to write or call that person’s supervisor and brag on their behavior.
  8. Brag on young parents about how well they are raising their children.
  9. Just do a random act of kindness
  10. Make sure you learn people’s first name when you compliment them.
