October 2026 several of us are going to take on the 30-Day Celebrity Alma Mater Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will identify a celebrity and share where they attended college. For Day 1 it is on JIM CANTORE.
Lumberton NC has been impacted in the last decade by two significant hurricanes. In 2016 it was Matthew and 2018 the community dealt with Florence. In 2016 Matthew knocked out power, water, along with flooding I-95. Jim Cantore was live on the air in Lumberton for the Weather Channel broadcasting from Exit 20-I-95 on Sunday October 9, 2016.
Thankfully in 2026 there has not been a named Hurricane to date in the Atlantic Basin. Jim Cantore has not been back in Lumberton and hope he is not offended but that is okay with the community.
