March 2026 marks the 75th consecutive month that Jeff Neelon, Jaclyn Donovan, and I have completed a 30-Day Coach4aday Challenge. For this milestone month, weāve chosen to focus on teaching. Each day for 30 days, we will share one lesson, principle, or insight gained from the previous 74 challengesācalling it the 30-Day Coach4aday Teach It Challenge. For each of us we believe that our own personal growth increases when we share it.
Today it is aĀ ROI or Return on Investment.
Return on investment (ROI) is an essential measure because it helps determine whether the time, money, or resources put into a decision are producing meaningful value. One of the smartest investors of all-time is Warren Buffet and he had a lesson for all of us on that topic.
āTeach Itā 30 Day Challenge Guidelines
In past challenges, we invited others to join us, though participation has been limited. This month, the three of us will return to January 2020āthe very beginningāand move forward to the present, reflecting along the way and sharing a life lesson or insight from any month with one another.

Day 14-Warren Buffet on Investing
Warren Buffett has earned a nickname called the āOracle of Omahaā. He is often asked for financial advice. One thing he will encourage people do is to focus on Index Funds rather than individual stocks.
He once got to speak to a college class of MBA Students, and part of that conversation went like this.
Student: Mr Buffett what is the single best piece of investing advice you could give me?
