Today marks the commencement of my 45th consecutive 30-Day Coach4adayChallenge. For September it’s all about delving into the captivating world of college and university NICKNAMES.

Throughout the 30-Day College Nickname Coach4aday Challenge, participants will encounter a daily multiple-choice question. Guided by historical insights, origins, and trivia specific to each college or university, selecting the correct answer will be an informative and engaging experience. The accurate response will be revealed in the post for the following day.

Overview of the Nickname Challenge

Each blog post in September will offer up a few clues about a particular college or university athletic nickname. Following those clues there will be three choices the reader can make. The following day the correct answer will appear. Will do my best to keep up with scoring.

September 1st Nickname-Vandals

Here are three clues about this college’s nickname:
