Prior to March 2020, I had a couple of definitions if I read or heard the word HOTSPOTS.

I might think of trendy restaurants or tourist attractions when I heard the word. I am quite confident I made God laugh this year with my 2020 travel plans. I was going to visit some HOTSPOTS this year. He has a way of humbling us when it comes to our plans.

He probably got a good belly laugh out of the list of restaurants I had seen on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I had circled a few National Parks to hit up this year also.

It is amazing how the events in life can change our perspective and the definition of words or phrases. Now when I hear HOTSPOT I immediately think of what parts of the country are experiencing an uptick in COVID Cases.

Just last week I found these articles on HOTSPOTS

Biggest Hotspot No One Is Talking About

Myrtle Beach An absolute Hotspot

Rural Hotspots

For the time being my plans involve avoiding HOTSPOTS and implementing the  3 W’s

Wear a Mask

Wait at least 6 feet apart from other people

Wash your hands
