Today for the 30-Day Podcast Coach4aday Challenge my theme is learning about a FLEA MARKET.

Watching episodes of Antique Roadshow and Storage Wars always have me learning about the value of items. Every weekend across America there are garage sales and FLEA MARKETS being held. Many people are there in search of a once in a lifetime find. Went searching to see if there are podcasts about some of those expensive finds people have scored.

Day 28 Podcast

Art in Living is my podcast for today. It is show focused on harnessing our creativity to live a better life. The show is hosted by Barbara Mosher. The episode I listened to aired on May 3, 2022, and was titled “Millon Dollar Flea Market Finds.

Podcast Takeaway

The host provides examples of finds that people have made of various art pieces. Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, and Ansel Adams pieces all were discovered at FLEA MARKETS. They each had value in the millions.

She pointed out going someplace that has high speed internet and doing a search while browsing. Ceramic pieces that have a mark on the bottom of the piece can also be a valuable resource. Part of the episode included a link to the ten best Flea Markets in the US.
