For the month of November, I am participating in the 30-Day ELECTION Trivia Coach4aday Challenge.

Credit for this challenge goes to Jeff Neelon who suggested it. Has exhaustion set in from the bombardment of negative ads? It has for me. Well maybe taking a look at ELECTION history will be more appealing than been told what is wrong with each and every candidate running.

Rules for 30-Day Election Trivia Challenge

  1. Identify some interesting information about ELECTIONS not candidates or issues.
  2. Very briefly describe that info or fact.
  3. Share it with someone. That can be done in person or via social media. Just link it back to this post or use #Coach4adayChallenge in your share.

Day 1 Election Trivia

Who ran the most times to become elected the President of the United States?

If you are like me, you may have never heard of Norman Thomas. He can lay claim to fame in the history of US Presidential Elections.

He was born in 1884 and died in 1968. In 1928, 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944, and 1948, he ran for president as a Socialist. He lost each election badly, but he holds the distinction of being on the most US Presidential Ballots in History with six appearances.
