August 2026 several of us are going to take on the 30-Day Plugged in Coach4aday Challenge. Each day, we will feature an item from home or office that requires being plugged into a source of electricity to operate. We will reflect on how it makes life easier. For Day 30 it is the ALARM CLOCK.

If you traveled in the 1960s or 1970s, there was a good chance a small fold-up travel alarm clock was tucked inside your suitcase.

Some of us may also remember requesting a wake-up call from the front desk—talk about being startled awake when that phone rang before sunrise!
